Dante expansion suitable for driving

The DT168 provides 16 microphone preamps and 8 line outputs in a convenient stage box format. Ideal for portable applications thanks to its rubber stops and its handle, it can be deployed on stage or used as a direct expander on any SQ, Avantis, AHM or DLive Dante network.

Up to 16 units can be added to an AHM-64, SQ, Avantis, or DLive system when equipped with a Dante SQ or DLive 96kHz Dante card.

ready for the stage

The sturdy design of the Expander, with sturdy rubber stops, allows it to be placed directly on the floor of the stage during the performances. With a weight of only 4.8 kg and a sturdy carrying handle, the DT168 offers the necessary comfort and portability in rent, education, places of worship and many other environments. An optional 4U rack mount kit is available that allows installation on 19-inch racks.

DT Preamp Control

DT Preamp Control is an application for Windows/MacOS that allows remote control of multiple Dante DT168 or DT164-W expanders. Analog gain control, phantom power and pad is provided per shot. Socket names are also displayed and can be edited in Dante Controller.

DT Preamp Control extends the applications of the DT168 and DT164-W expanders, without being limited to Allen & Heath matrix processors or mixing systems. These include large audio networks distributed in places, stadiums and educational campuses, where Dante's high number of channels is required in multiple locations.

DT168 compatibility

Up to 16 DT168 expanders can be added to an AHM, SQ, Avantis, or DLive system when equipped with a Dante SQ or DLive 96kHz Dante card. The DT168 can also be used in Dante-equipped third-party mixers together with the DT Preamp Control software.
