With the launch of the closed DT 700 Pro X, we present some circumaural studio headphones, which will mark the beginning of an era for the long-standing company based in Heilbronn. While our Pro X series classics are considered reference products in professional studios around the world, the Pro line is suitable for flexible use both in the studio and on the move. All this is possible thanks to the Stellar.45 controller that reproduces at full volume the best sound with studio quality without any distortion, with all the playback devices.

The Stellar.45 sound transducer, developed and produced in Heilbronn, Germany, delivers that proven dynamic sound at never-before-reached levels of studio headphone class performance. This is due to the neodymium annular magnet and the copper-coated high-tech wire. The balance between the electrical conductivity and the weight of the cable is unique. Combined with the three-layer speaker diaphragm developed with an integrated damping layer, a highly efficient driver system has been created that works superbly on all playback devices.

The innovative membrane structure controls the axial movement of the moving coil and ensures that it remains securely placed in the magnet space even during high oscillations. Another benefit is the broad and natural frequency response. The rapid response of the transducer and the detailed transient response, produced by the low weight of the coil, creates always reliable sound and distortion-free even at high levels of sound pressure.
