Audix M3WDK Hanging Ceiling Microphone Kit
Description
Audix's White M3WDK hanging ceiling microphone kit includes the Audix M3 hanging ceiling microphone, the AUDIX DN4 Dante AES67 microphone interface, a Plenum rated cable, and two seismic and fire-fighting cable restrictions. It can be used to stream Audix audio interpretations over Ethernet networks for zone capture, video conferencing, distance learning, hospital and medical procedures, courtrooms, and environmental microphony applications.
The M3 is an innovative three-element pendant microphone designed for applications where aesthetics, sound quality and ease of installation are critical. The frequency response and polar pattern of your coherent three-phase hypercardioid capsules are designed for voice clarity and rejection of strange noises. Gold diaphragm condenser capsules provide studio-quality sound.
The Audix DN43 interface features a microphone port designed exclusively for the Audix M3 three-element microphone and an Audix RJ45-equipped single-element analog microphone port. Each channel has an independently selectable, selectable preamp gain, as well as high- and low-pass filters. It has balanced audio inputs with RFI filtering and offers 24-bit, 48-kHz high-fidelity audio.
Built-in microphone system interface
Audix's DN43 Dante AES67 integrated microphone interface is the heart of a microphone system that delivers audio performance over Ethernet networks. It can be used to provide microphone functions, including on/off contact closure and status LED indicators for meeting rooms, convention centers, educational facilities, and places of worship through a single Cat 5 - Cat 7 cable with RJ45 connections.
The DN43 interface features an Audix M3 three-element microphone port and an Audix RJ45-equipped single-element microphone port. The configuration eliminates wiring errors and speeds up the installation. In addition, all Audix RJ45-equipped microphone gain structures are optimized for their intended location, providing quality audio on the DSP. The result is a true plug-and-play installation.
In addition, the interface is equipped with two logical outputs of 5V per port and source/sink capacity for DSP controlled LEDs connected to the network. The low pass and high pass filter settings are available for each audio channel, as well as eight selectable gain levels with all settings configurable through the software.
