The Artisan B5 Element series is a completely refurbished bass range that combines only the best elements of the popular Artisan Bass of Class B, including a roasted maple fingerboard on a 5-piece panga-panga and walnut neck, pickups Bartolini® MK-1 and a Bartolini® MK-1 preamp set, as well as Hipshot® Ultralite plugs. The new MetalCraft M5 bridges of large mass with double rope loading system have been incorporated, which greatly improve resonance and tone transmission, as well as an ergonomic mahogany body of more rounded shapes with a veining ash lid Beautiful, available in three different color options. Bartolini's renowned MK-1 preamp provides a powerful yet transparent reinforcement, along with its distinctive sharp trebles. The MK-1 conveys the natural vivacity of the bass through a three-band flexible equalizer, allowing a wide variety of applications, from studio recording to large concert halls. In addition, it has a switchable active/passive mode to obtain a powerful modern active sound or a traditional and organic passive sound.
