Radial Hotshot DM1 Stage Microphone Selector
Description
- Redirects the microphone signal to communicate with the technicians.
- Allows band members with internal monitors to talk between songs
- The momentary switch requires the action of the foot to activate.
- Passive design does not require any energy to function.
- Professional scenic communication.Designed to address the communication issues on the stage of artists using monitoring systems on the ear, the Hotshot DM-1 is a simple passive footswitch that allows artists on stage to quickly redirect their signal without interrupting the performance. Using the DM-1 is easy: connect any dynamic microphone to the input and send the main XLR output to the mixer, then connect a cable from the second output of the DM-1 to power a common intercom bus. As soon as you press the momentary footswitch, the signal going to the main output is muted and redirected to the monitoring system. This allows the musician to talk discreetly with other members of the band or discuss a technical problem with the team. As soon as the footswitch is released, the system automatically returns to normal operation, allowing the show to continue normally.
