The MSP3A features a 10 cm (3.94″) woofer with a Twisted Flare port design and a 2.2 cm (0.87″) tweeter. The built-in electric amplifier is optimized for the speaker units to provide clear, natural reference sound. Although the built-in amplifier produces a powerful 22 watts, the MSP3 weighs only 3.6 kilograms, making it portable and easy to reposition.The Twisted Flare port design makes the most of our extensive experience in subwoofer development. The flared and gently coiled shape diffuses the vortex of air generated around the end of the port, creating a smooth airflow. This reduces strange noises that are not in the original input signal and reproduces low frequencies clearly and accurately. The bass is clear, firm and realistic, whether in the special effects of the films or in the atmospheres of the local live.
In addition to a combination of XLR/TRS connectors that allows direct input from a +4 dB mixer or other professional equipment, the MSP3A provides TRS and RCA connectors for a convenient connection to electronic instruments and other audio devices. Tone controls allow you to optimize sound for your monitoring environment and will effectively compensate for frequency imbalances caused by speaker placement or room resonance.
