Description

For 20 years, the GB bass line has been one of Cort's most popular bass lines. In 2017, Cort introduced new GB bass lines with lots of upgraded design update and treatment features. From the entry-level bass for beginners to professional bassists looking for a premium bass, the GB bass can continue with its role of serving all those bass players who demand it. GB34JJ features 2-band active electronics that provides a wide range of sounds for a variety of game situations and music genres.

hard maple mast

The hard maple mast provides power and stability, as well as providing a powerful and blunt tone with a strong upper midrange. Dense and rigid, but with just the right amount of tactile flexibility, it responds sensitively to its picking attack and slapping techniques with plenty of articulation and power.

2-band active electronics

The two J-style single-coil pickups and 2-band active electronics provide a wide range of sounds for a wide variety of performance situations and musical genres. Whether you play jazz, which requires greater dynamics, or you play modern funk, which requires a bright and fast attack, the active electronic equalizer adds sound versatility so you can adapt to practically any situation.

Ergonomic neck joint

Designed and implemented to facilitate access to the upper fingerboard register, the new ergonomic neck joint increases comfort when touching, while reducing tension on the tendons and uncomfortable wrist and finger positions. Now you can play solo and reach the highest notes with confidence, as well as with a much-improved runability.
