Cort GB64JJ Series GB Natural Electric Bass

This is the modern version of Cort of the GB series bass for J-Style enthusiasts with inspiration in the 70s. The new added active electronics allows bassists to explore a wider range of sound spectrum, keeping the aesthetic the most classic. possible. The highly sought after roasted maple neck and fingerboard provides greater stability, as well as a more vintage look and a more daring tone.

Ergonomic soft maple body

The ergonomically designed displaced body offers great comfort when sitting or standing, and the soft maple body, although less dense than hard maple but still much denser than mahogany, provides an ideal balance between a clear and bright tone and a thick and bold tone.

Roasted maple neck and fingerboard

By treating hard maple in a high temperature oxygen-free furnace, the wood stabilizes and develops a golden-brown look to improve stability, as well as a more vintage look and a more daring tone.

Active electronics

The GB64JJ is enhanced with a 9-volt battery-powered active preamp system that allows bassists to explore a wider range of tones with their 2-band Blend and EQ controls, and can be turned on or off with a button of push/pull volume.
