The Radial SB-1 is a high performance active direct box made for musicians who are on the move. Made to fit inside a guitar case, the SB-1 is the smallest radial DI box. But don't let the size fool you... This ultra-compact stagebug sounds absolutely fantastic!Design begins with the standard ¼" instrument input with a thru output to power your tuner or amplifier on stage. The ultra-quiet active circuit at the same time converts the High to low impedance signal to reduce susceptibility to noise, controls and then balances the signal for long distances to the PA system and delivers 48 volts of power, the SB-1 does not require batteries or external power to make it work. Plug in and you are ready to play!The active circuit has a carefully selected 220k ohm input impedance to eliminate load problems while offering a soft, warm sound for the audio system.This is particularly important when the vintage guitar interconnection with Low expense pills in which you should plan to do some recording or reamping. The SB-1 is also equipped with a PAD-15DB that reduces input sensitivity to gracefully handle even the loudest instruments. This makes the SB-1 perfectly suitable for electric bass and keyboards.
